For 2011, Outback gains a few thoughtful enhancements to an already lengthy list of standard and optional features:

- Folding side view mirrors are now standard equipment on every Outback
sold in Canada.
- The new entry level model for 2011 is the 2.5i Convenience, which now
includes a voice-activated Bluetooth system for handsfree cell phone
connectivity. PZEV emissions technology is available as a separate

- The 2.5i Sport Package now also includes a silver-coloured front
bumper under-guard.

For 2011, Outback is offered in two models: 2.5i and 3.6R. The 170-horsepower Outback 2.5i may be equipped with either 6-speed Manual Transmission (6MT) or optional Lineartronic(TM) CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) with paddle shift controls. The 6-cylinder 256-horsepower Outback 3.6R is outfitted with a 5-speed Electronic Direct Control Automatic Transmission with Manual Mode (5EAT), blipping control and paddle shift controls.

Confident All-Weather Performance, On- and Off-Road
